Notes: Alaska has ~215,000 moose. Most popular big game. GMU 14C near Anchorage.
🦌 Caribou
Season: August–February (varies by unit)
March status: Most units closed
Notes: Multiple herds statewide.
🐻 Brown Bear / Grizzly
Spring season: April 1–June 30
Fall season: Aug 25–Nov 30
March status: Opens April 1
🐻 Black Bear
Spring season: April 15–June 30

March status: Closed (hibernating)
